Curriculum linked Guided Preserve Tours are hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that are based on what students are learning in the classroom. These tours are a popular spring and fall activity, typically lasting 1 hour, but longer tours are awarded as prizes for our annual Meduxnekeag Environmental School Showcase and by requested availability.
All spring and falls tours use the Wilson Mountain trail system, with parking located at 260 Red Bridge Road.
Winter Snowshoeing Preserve tours are great winter activity for all grade levels and are also curriculum linked! Snowshoeing tours are 2 hours and allow students to follow animal tracks, learn about different habitats and experience the wonders of snow-covered woodland kingdom. Winter tours use the Bell Forest trail which is located 200 Bell Settlement Road. Please note snowshoes are NOT provided but we can help you borrow some.
